My Students
Teaching is one of the most meaningful parts of my musical life. I find great joy in introducing young children to the flute and helping them discover the confidence, curiosity, and creativity that music can inspire. Each student brings a unique voice and way of learning, and I strive to create a supportive and encouraging space where they feel safe and comfortable exploring, growing, and expressing themselves.
Through my work with ICYOLA and Harmony Project, I have had the privilege of mentoring young musicians and witnessing the many ways music can shape not only their artistic development, but also their sense of confidence, connection, and belonging. I believe that learning an instrument is about much more than developing technical skills—it is an opportunity to cultivate patience, imagination, discipline, and a lasting relationship with music.
My hope is to help each student build a strong musical foundation while discovering the joy of making music and the meaningful connections it can create.
I offer private instruction in a warm, welcoming, and unhurried studio environment—whether you are picking up the flute for the first time, pursuing ambitious musical goals, or returning to music after time away. Each lesson is thoughtfully tailored to the individual, creating space for growth, curiosity, and the lasting joy of making music.
