I am a flutist, collaborator, and teacher whose music invites listeners to slow down—to listen closely, share in the breath, and find meaning in the quiet details.
With an approachable presence, I bring thoughtfulness, curiosity, and authenticity to everything I do. My work is shaped by creativity, refined technique, and natural expression, guided by the belief that the most memorable music is not simply heard, but deeply felt and personally shared.
As I reflect on the path that has brought me here, I am deeply grateful to God for guiding me through each season, opening doors I could not have imagined, and blessing me with the gift of music. I do not see this gift as something to possess, but as something to nurture, honor, and share with others. Through every performance, collaboration, and lesson, I hope to use it with humility, gratitude, and purpose.

Biography
My story
Gabriela Beltrán is a flutist from Carlsbad, California, and a graduate of the USC Thornton School of Music, where she earned her degree in Classical Flute Performance. In 2025, she was named a finalist in the prestigious Musical Merit Foundation competition, and in 2024 she was recognized at USC’s annual Honors Convocation, receiving both the Woodwind Chamber Music Award and the Large Ensemble Award. Her honors also include an Honorable Mention in the Winds Division at the 2023 MTNA State Competition, along with notable performances at Carnegie Hall with the Honors Performance Series and Walt Disney Concert Hall with the Idyllwild Arts Chamberfest Orchestra.
Now based in Los Angeles, Gabriela is deeply committed to music education and audio engineering. She teaches with ICYOLA and Harmony Project, where she is passionate about mentoring young musicians, fostering confidence and creativity, and cultivating meaningful connections through music.
Musical journey

Teaching philosophy
Every student deserves a sound they love. Lessons begin with tone — the part of playing that carries feeling — and grow outward into technique, reading and repertoire.
Progress should feel encouraging, not punishing. Goals are set together, practice is structured and small, and performance confidence is built gradually through low-pressure playing.
